The day after

History

"The day after" was shot in 4 weekends when everyone involved with the film could make some time from their daily works, in order to be devoted to a short experimental film without many aspirations.
It wasn't the first time I shot "The day after". During my studies at the Stavrakos film school, several years ago, I had made another attempt, to shot the film, with even more meager means, and Katerina was the leading actress even then.
Back then, the film's titled "The next day". Even though the amateur result was buried somewhere in a drawer, it have sentimental value for us and it provided us with valuable stepping stones for the next attempt.
I consider "The Day After" as an entirely experimental film as every single one of the crew participated in order to experiment with different things.
